Writing Power 1 pp. 124 and 125: Proper sentence capitalization & punctuation and 3 main parts of a paragraph: topic sentence, body, and conclusion.
Return paragraphs about the train station. Discuss several with class: Mauth opted to separate the people into those using technology and those not using technology. Tatiania gave all 8 people names when talking about them and used humor, and Marco used a word from the morning’s vocabulary lesson taught by Monica.

Writing topic sentences. Put titles on the board: My Meal, The Concert, and The Pizza. Discuss support you would use when writing about these topics. Decide on a topic sentence to fit your support.
Write a paragraph titled My Meal. Brainstorm ideas as to what your main idea will be. Then create a topic sentence, body of about 4 sentences, and a conclusion.
