Thursday, October 31 - AM Fluency

We had candles and spooky music for class today; it’s Halloween! Opening discussion: Have you ever experienced anything supernatural? Ghosts, spirits, demons, angels, gods, God? 

We then read my second horror short story, entitled, “The Passing.” We then listened to two Halloween songs: “Dead Man’s Party,” by Oingo Boingo, and “The Curse of Millhaven,” by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds. The second one required a lot of unpacking. The song has lots of lyrics and introduced students to some new words.
