Tuesday, January 9 - PM Intermediate
Welcome to all the new students, and welcome back to all the returning students! We counted, we have seven nationalities in the classroom (including my American citizenship …).
SxS1 Ch. 9, p. 79-83. Practicing the simple present tense (used when talking about general statements/ routines)
The students practiced affirmative sentences (for example: I live in Rome.), as well as the questions Where do/does …? What do/does …? (for example: Where do you live/ Where does she live? What do you do every day? What does he do every morning?)
After listening to the reading of Mr. and Mrs. DiCarlo (on p. 83), the students wrote a summary of what they remembered/understood for me to assess their comprehension.
