Body idioms:

All ears - to give someone your full attention (same in Portuguese)

For example: 

I cannot wait to hear what you are going to talk about, I am all ears.

Cold shoulder - ignore someone. 

For example: Tim would not talk to her after their argument, he gave her the cold shoulder.



VP2 Dictation of the following sentences:


I felt that the teacher lessened the importance of my message.

Theresa dragged the chair across the room.

Sonia said that her purse cost a mere $40.

My neighbor scattered bird seeds on the grass to attract birds.

He chose to wander on foot and discover cafes and restaurants on his own.

We keep a spare key hidden under the doormat. 


The students restarted the word wall.

We contemplated how interesting each topic is for the audience (classmates).
